The Tesla app is a powerful tool that allows owners to stay connected with their vehicles and Powerwalls at all times. With this app, users can monitor their charging progress in real-time, start or stop charging, and even heat or cool their car before driving, regardless of whether it's parked in a garage or not. The app also allows users to lock or unlock their vehicle remotely, locate it with directions or track its movement, and send an address from their favorite apps to start navigation in their car. Passengers can also quickly control media, and users can flash lights or honk the horn to find their vehicle when parked.

In addition to these features, the Tesla app also allows users to vent or close the panoramic roof, summon their vehicle out of a tight parking space or garage (for vehicles with Autopilot), and update their vehicle software from wherever they are. The app also enables users to engage with Powerwall, monitor how much energy is stored from solar, used by their home, or exported to the grid, and download their solar production and battery usage data.
