Users can log in using their Swiss Post customer login, which grants them direct access to online services within the app. The login remains valid for a specified period, depending on the device's security settings. The app also provides a push function that delivers the latest information about Swiss Post and personal updates on upcoming consignments.

One of the key features of the app is the codescanner, which allows users to scan barcodes and QR codes on consignment documents or manually enter consignment numbers. Additionally, the app's location search feature uses GPS to determine the user's location and provides information on the nearest Swiss Post branches, Postomats, and PickPost points. Users can also track and trace their consignments by scanning barcodes or QR codes, and even add their own text to the listed consignments for better organization.

The Post-App also offers the convenience of digital stamping, allowing users to frank letters and parcels from the comfort of their homes or while on the go. It also provides information on prices for commonly used products and offers a mail calculator for more specific consignments. Users who save their login and activate the "My consignments" service can have an up-to-date overview of all their received consignments, with the option to receive proactive push notifications on their progress.
