Speed Camera Radar is a mobile application designed to help drivers detect hazards on the road, including speed cameras, speed bumps, bad roads, and more. The app uses a database of points of interest (POI) and hazards previously detected by other users. It requires GPS to detect hazards during driving and supports all countries worldwide. Registered users can add new hazards to the shared database and influence the rating of hazards by defining whether danger exists or not in fact. They also have more permissions to manage POI objects on the map, such as deleting irrelevant POI from the common database.

To use the app, users need to update the database of speed cameras for their region by going to the "Update database" menu. They can enable the radar by pressing the "Start" button at the bottom right of the screen. The app notifies only the dangers that are along the user's route and supports map or radar view mode, night mode for the map, 3D tilt on the map, and map auto zoom and rotation along the way. It also shows traffic jams on the map, dashboard with current speed, and 300,000 active hazards POIs around the world.

The app supports voice alerts, working in the background or with other navigation apps, and adding users' own POI to the shared database. It plays the sound and shows the hazard on the map and distance to this hazard. Users can call the main setting by swiping from the left edge of the screen to the right and the dangers filter they want to discover by swiping from the right edge of the screen to the left.
