Ooma's mobile app is an extension of their award-winning home phone service. With the app, users can make calls from their Ooma phone number, receive calls when away from home, check voicemail, and more. To get started with the app, users must log in with their Ooma phone number and password. The app works with the primary number on the user's Ooma account, and not additional numbers. Users can make unlimited domestic calls without using their cellular plan minutes, and international calls are available for low rates. The app also allows users to view their call history, manage privacy settings, and receive alerts for new voicemail.

It is important to note that some mobile network operators prohibit or restrict the use of VoIP over their network or impose additional fees and/or charges when using VoIP over their network. By using Ooma Mobile over 3G/4G/LTE, users agree to familiarize themselves with and abide by any restrictions their cellular carrier imposes and agree that Ooma will not be held liable for any charges, fees, or liability imposed by the carrier for using Ooma Mobile over their 3G/4G/LTE network.

The Ooma app is available for Android devices running 5.0 and higher. Users can dial numbers in their phone's contact list or set up a list of favorites for quick access from the app. The app also allows users to conveniently listen to voicemail messages on their phone, delete messages, or file them into folders. To make international calls, users can purchase international calling credits or sign up for the Ooma World calling plan, which includes unlimited calls to more than 60 countries.

To reset a forgotten password, users can visit My Ooma. It is recommended that users have a strong internet connection, either Wi-Fi or 3G/4G, to ensure the highest voice quality when making calls using the Ooma app. The Ooma Telo can be purchased at favorite retailers or at Ooma.com.
