The OBDLink app is a powerful diagnostic tool that can turn your phone or tablet into a full-fledged scan tool. It is designed to work exclusively with a range of OBD adapters, including the OBDLink MX+, OBDLink LX Bluetooth, OBDLink MX Bluetooth, OBDLink Bluetooth, OBDLink MX Wi-Fi, OBDLink WiFi, OBDLink EX USB (with Android 3.1 or newer), and OBDLink SX USB (with Android 3.1 or newer). It is important to note that the app will not work with any other brand of OBD adapter.
With the OBDLink app, you can read diagnostic trouble codes, clear the "Check Engine" light, check emissions readiness, estimate fuel economy, and much more. The app offers a range of key features, including the ability to check and clear diagnostic trouble codes, read freeze frame data, display real-time data (over 90 parameters!), and create customizable dashboards. It also offers emissions readiness for each US state, fuel economy MPG, l/100km or km/l calculation, multiple trip meters, and the ability to log data to CSV format (compatible with Excel).
