MyWear File Explorer is an app that allows users to manage their files and folders on their smartwatch. This app is only compatible with devices that have Wear OS, which was formerly known as Android Wear. The app's file transfer is limited to files that are approximately 65 MB in size. If files are not being transferred, users can try changing the destination folder on their watch.

Due to security changes in the latest versions of Wear OS, users will have to enable permission manually for the app to work properly. Users can do this by going to Settings, Apps & notifications, App info, myWear File Explorer, Permissions, Files and media, and then allowing all the time.

With MyWear File Explorer, users can copy, delete, move (cut), and rename files and folders directly on their smartwatch. They can also send files from their smartphone or tablet to their smartwatch in a simple way, as well as send files from their smartwatch to their smartphone or tablet. Additionally, users can use their smartwatch to backup their files.

The app is compatible with Android Wear 1.0 and 2.0 (Wear OS) and includes a keyboard for Android Wear 1.0 (Wear OS). Functionalities included in the app are creating, viewing, and editing text files (.txt), opening files in PDF format as text or as an image, opening image files (.png, .jpg, .gif, and .bmp), creating, renaming, copying, moving, and deleting folders, displaying thumbnails of images, multiple selection of files and folders, and opening ePub files (simple ePub reader without links).

Overall, MyWear File Explorer is a useful app for those who want to manage their files and folders on their smartwatch.
