The Location Changer app is a tool that allows users to change their GPS location and protect their privacy by preventing apps and websites from tracking their real location. The app can also be used to test location-based apps and provides detailed location information. Users can set a pin on the map using a long press and double tap to zoom in/out on the map. The app will keep working even if the phone is rebooted and can be turned off by tapping on the Stop button.
The app also features a Joystick mode that can be enabled from the settings. Users can set the maximum speed and drag the joystick to a new preferred position. The app warns users that some apps may detect that they are using a fake location if they are using Mock locations mode. This is normal, and the Location Changer app still works correctly, but unfortunately, Android can let apps know if a Mock location is being used.
Users can add multiple pins on the map and set an interval in seconds to change the location to each pin. However, the interval will vary significantly when the screen is turned off or the device goes into sleep mode. The app does not change the user's IP address, and applications/websites that check the location based on the IP address may still detect the real location.
It is important to note that the app does not disable Mock locations on the device, and users will need to do it from the Developer options. The app warns users to use it responsibly and that they are not responsible for how users choose to use the tool. Overall, the Location Changer app is a useful tool for protecting privacy and testing location-based apps.
