Dr. Wolf is friendly, patient, and witty, making him a great choice for beginners and intermediate players.

Dr. Wolf offers a free trial of three games of chess to showcase his in-game teaching style. After the trial, you can subscribe to Coaching to continue learning. With Coaching, Dr. Wolf teaches while you play chess, pointing out good moves and bad moves, and the reasoning behind them. You also get unlimited hints, undos, and access to the Lesson Library, which has over thirty lessons in Dr. Wolf's unique style.
