The Logitech Harmony app allows users to control their home entertainment and automation devices from their Android smartphone or tablet. With the app, users can dim lights, close blinds, adjust volume, and start movies with just one touch. The app combines home entertainment devices like TVs and game consoles with home automation devices like lights, locks, and thermostats. It offers personalized, multi-device Activities that streamline daily routines. The Harmony app requires a Harmony hub-based remote control, which can be purchased separately.

The Harmony app offers a range of features for controlling home devices. Users can control home entertainment devices and connected lights, locks, blinds, thermostats, and more from a single app, both inside and outside the home. The app allows users to check device status and make adjustments remotely. Custom schedules can be set up to turn devices on or off at specific times or days. Activities like Good Morning, Good Night, Watch TV, Listen to Music, or Play Games can be created to start multiple devices together with just one touch. The app also allows users to create up to 50 favorite channels with custom icons for quick access to entertainment.

The Harmony app is compatible with many IR and Bluetooth game consoles and supports over 270,000 devices from more than 6,000 brands. It can be installed on multiple Android devices in the house, allowing each user to have their own personalized favorite channels and custom gestures. The app also offers the ability to control devices inside closed media cabinets, eliminating the need to point the phone at the TV. However, it is important to note that location permission is required for Bluetooth discovery of Harmony hubs on Android v6.0 and above. Logitech provides customer support through online support articles, an online support community, and a support team.
