The xfi Locator app is a simple and elegant solution for locating iOS and Android devices. To locate an iOS device, users need to use the iCloud credentials that were used to activate the target device. For Android devices, users need to install the xfi Endpoint app on the target device and follow the instructions to register for a PIN. The app runs natively on the Android platform and locates the device on Google Maps. It can make the device sound even when it is on silent mode, making it easy to find a misplaced phone or tablet. The app also supports multiple accounts, provides directions and turn-by-turn navigation, and offers beautiful, high-resolution, detailed Street View and Traffic.
Users can save login credentials for future quick log-ins, and the app offers real-time auto-refresh. A web version is also available to locate lost Android devices from any platform. If users have trouble locating an iOS device, they should ensure that iCloud is enabled on the target device. If they have trouble locating an Android device, they should make sure that the target device has xfi Endpoint installed, registered, and its location service is enabled.
