The GPS Route Finder app is a tool that allows users to fake their GPS location on their Android device. The app offers standard spoofing on all Android versions, with no root mode available on Android 6.0 and above. Users can change the update interval, create routes, and integrate with other apps via the share button. The paid version of the app offers additional features such as a cooldown chart, stops and gyms, joystick operation, more route options, and GPX import. However, the app's team does not support any foul usage of the app, including cheating.
To use the app, users simply choose their faked location and press play. The app will insert the fake GPS location into the Android phone on the fly. It can be used to prank friends on social networks, geotag photos, and find people in different cities. However, users must disable high accuracy location positioning/mobile locations under Android Location Settings and leave "GPS ONLY" or "Device only" on some devices.
The app requires certain permissions, including internet access to display the map view and access to coarse and fine location to fake the current location. Users must also allow mock locations under Developer settings (Applications). The app content has been localized in English, German, and Japanese. If users want to change their location on a browser, they will need a VPN service in connection with the app.
