EV ChargeHub is an app that helps American and Canadian electric car owners find charging stations for their vehicles. The app provides a map interface that allows users to locate public electric vehicle charging stations and get driving directions to the nearest one. It also shows over 120,000 electric car charging station plugs in the US and Canada and provides color-coded live availability data from charging stations in networks such as Chargepoint, Blink, Hydro Quebec's Circuit Electrique, and AddEnergie Flo. Users can filter and search EV charging stations to display only the ones they want, by network, charging level, and more.
The app also allows users to add new public charging stations to the EV ChargeHub database, rate and add comments for all public electric vehicle supply equipment, and share complete EV charging station info. It provides detailed usage data for BC evCloud connected EV charging stations and allows users to request permission from other EV users for charger use. In-app charge session payment for selected networks is also available. The app is useful for electric car owners and prospective buyers of Tesla Model S, Leaf, iMiEV, Volt, Focus EV, Plug-in Prius, Smart EV, Kia Soul EV, and other electric vehicles.
EV ChargeHub is a smooth and responsive app with a unique logo for Tesla Superchargers, SAE DC Fast chargers, and CHAdeMO charging stations. It also provides Google Streetview to make it easier to see what's around an EV plug and allows users to directly call the network EVSE from the app to get more information. The app shows traffic conditions directly on the map and allows users to select map type. In-app EV range estimation is a feature that is currently in development.
