Users can take photos and videos from their phone with their smartwatch, use their watch as the viewfinder, and turn their phone into a remote control camera with their smartwatch. The app also allows users to take photos and videos without opening the home screen on their phone and see in hard-to-reach places using their phone together with their smartwatch.

The Wrist Camera App is compatible with Samsung Galaxy Watch 5, Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, Samsung Gear S3 Frontier, Samsung Gear S3 Classic, and Samsung Gear Sport. Starting from version 1.4.4 onward, the app can be used on Android Watch / Wear OS devices. The app has not been tested on some devices, but it is likely to be compatible. Users can download the app for free and try it on their watch. The app will need camera permission, storage permission, and microphone permission to work correctly.
