AP ENPS Mobile is a news production suite that allows journalists to take their newsroom with them wherever they go. With this app, users can remotely monitor assignments, rundowns, and wires, write and edit stories, upload media, and message co-workers with a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. Any changes made in the newsroom are automatically displayed on the user's device, eliminating the need to refresh the page. The app also includes a Tablet Story Viewer (TSV) that lets anchors and reporters read and edit stories directly from their tablet and stay in sync with rundown and story changes automatically.
The TSV content is cached on the user's device in the event of a connection interruption. AP ENPS Mobile caches user credentials, allowing for quicker login and staying logged in.
